• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience building large-scale software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and English, in technical and business settings (verbal and written).

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for Solutions Architects with strong software engineering skills and a passion for architecting and developing solutions to show customers the art of the possible. You will be part of a agile team of innovative practitioners who are obsessed with understanding the needs of our customers and have the skills to partner with them in experimenting with new ideas that can open up new markets or radically change how they deliver existing products/services.

In this role you will use your software development skills to develop prototypes using Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative IA, Io T and Serverless Architectures. You will apply software engineering best practices that ensures the prototypes provide a foundation to production solutions. Key job responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test and implement loosely coupled distributed software solutions.
• Research and employ up-to-date technological developments in customer engagements.
• Drive the AWS platform by aligning customer requirements with AWS service teams’ roadmaps.
• This role will focus on customers using AWS for research, development, and innovation.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white-papers, tutorials, blogs, etc.
• Position requires travel, generally, between 0 - 25%.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
• Experience writing and publishing technical white papers
• History of successful technical sales consulting and architecture engagements (i.e. working prototype solutions, POCs)
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and engineers.
• Solid communication skills with the ability to right level the conversation.
• Master or PHD in Computer Science, Engineering and/or equivalent industry experience.
