Accountant II (Hybrid)
Full time, Heredia, Costa Rica


In this role, you will be accountable for preparing monthly journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts monthly, and conducting necessary account analysis and research. You will also prepare balance sheet reconciliation accurately and timely. Another duty of this role is to prepare journal entries to record inter-company charges, depreciation, and amortization, and bills / reconcile inter-company accounts monthly and correct variances.


As an Accountant II, you will

• Support Accounting department budget targets
• Assist Managers and Supervisors by identifying areas to increase EBITDA
• Assist with the monthly close process
• Ensure month-end checklist items are processed timely and accurately
• Continuously work to streamline and automate the reconciliation process
• Assist with the review of AP Vendor Maintenance

About you

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
• A few years of experience in general accounting
• Proficiency with ERPs, word processing, and spreadsheets (MS Excel) required
• Proficiency in People Soft preferred
• Accounting under IFRS (International Accounting Standards) and GAAP
