Huntsman is seeking a Credit Collections Analyst supporting our GBS located in Costa Rica. This position will report to the Credit Manager US.

Job Scope

To support the business in the management of credit exposure and collection of trade debt for the AMS Region.

In summary, as the Credit Collections Analyst, you will:

The position is part of the Americas Credit Management services and is responsible for:

Manage the collection of accounts in an assigned portfolio to ensure compliance with payment terms and credit limits utilizing ERP System like SAP.
Assist the team in achieving annual targets on collections and support credit risk assessments of our credit analysis shared service team.
Tracking and resolution of unapplied/unidentified payments.
Knowledge of external risk agencies such as Credit Risk Monitor and agencies like S&P, Moody’s and others are a plus.
Monitor, review and approval of sales orders on credit hold.
Frequent interaction with sales, the pricing team and customer service to resolve disputes.
Support SOX, Audit and Compliance as required.
Follow instructions and perform other related functions as may be assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.

Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting / Business Administration.
3+ years relevant experience in the industrial credit field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred.
Demonstrate a high level of initiative and be goal driven.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Fluency in English is essential. Additional languages are a plus.
