About the role
We’re looking for a new freelance talent to work hand in hand with volunteers, staff, and communities to evaluate patients previous to their medical appointment at MEDLIFE Mobile Clinics in low-income communities in Costa Rica. By achieving that, you will contribute to one of MEDLIFE core focuses by providing access to equal Healthcare to low-income communities.
What will your day-to-day look like at MEDLIFE?
- Perform health histories at MEDLIFE mobile clinics.
- Conduct a physical examination of patients at the beginning of their visit to assess their overall health: take the patient's temperature, record their weight, monitor their heartbeat, check their blood pressure, etc. in mobile medical campaigns.
- Answer the questions of the volunteers.
- Bachelor or Technical Degree in Nursing ,or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience as Nurse or Nurse Technician in Costa Rica
- Advanced-level English skills are a plus.
- Work experience in rural communities is a plus.
- Availability to work in Guanacaste or San Jose area
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 6 – 18 per week
