About the role
We’re looking for a new freelance talent to work hand in hand with volunteers, staff, and communities to give Nutritional orientation to patients at MEDLIFE Mobile Clinics in low-income communities in Costa Rica. By achieving that, you will contribute to one of MEDLIFE core focuses by providing access to equal Healthcare to low-income communities.
What will your day-to-day look like at MEDLIFE?
- Provide outpatient nutrition orientation to patients in mobile medical campaigns.
- Conduct anemia, diabetes, obesity tests for patients.
- Good practices related to Nutrition development.
- Answer the questions of the volunteers.
- Bachelor or Technical Degree in Nutrition, or related fields.
- Must have a valid license (colegiatura) to work as a Nutritionist in Costa Rica.
- 2+ years of experience as Nutritionist in Costa Rica
- Advanced-level English skills is a plus.
- Work experience in rural communities is a plus.
- Live in the San Jose, or Guanacaste area.
