Import and Export Specialist

We are looking for a Import and Export Specialist to join our team in Costa Rica. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and making an impact on our life-saving work, this may be a good fit for you! As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:

SUMMARY: Working under little to no supervision and following detailed verbal, written, and hands-on instructions. Manage a team of operators to meet productivity and quality goals by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensure all processes are in compliance with Customs Law
Free Zone Imports and Export legislations and modalities knowledge
Assist the Supply Chain Clerk when needed with Import & Export doubts and problems
Assist our internal customers with Import & Export doubts and problems
Process and follow up claims with our Freight forwarders
Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn and develop
When applicable, follows standard operating procedures for all tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

2 years of experience in similar positions or logistics.
Bachelor's degree in customs administration or similar career (international administration, foreign trade or industrial engineering as long as you have experience in free zone).
Knowledge in customs legislation preferably in free zone.
Intermediate English, able to communicate fluently.
Knowledge in Tica.
