We are looking for an analytical and results-oriented Localization Expert to help shape the future of Digi-Flex Operations.

The successful candidate for this role will be a fast, clear and independent thinker who is naturally curious about how things work, importance of Localization in the AI subtitles process, metrics and number savvy, has an analytical mindset and has demonstrated leadership ability that includes drive process excellence. This person will need an ability to see the big picture/whole system and execute on grass root level to improve quality of the processes. Additionally, should show success in following-up and getting things done ( Influence without authority) and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric and ever changing environment. The ideal candidate will interact with different stakeholders, hence an assertive communication will be key.

It is important that the candidate also demonstrate the ability to execute deliverables with minimum guidance, communicate effectively, escalates roadblocks/ risks and makes trade-offs and an ability to interact with the team.

IMPORTANT: This is not a remote position, you are required to work on site. Open to Costa Rica applicant expected to work from the SJO19 site in Heredia.

Key job responsibilities
The day to day job requires the individual to make judgment-based decisions by following a standard operating procedure. This will involve tasks such as:
1. Localizing SDH/Subtitles and metadata synopsis
2. Quality check subtitles/metadata assets for translation accuracy (idiomatic, spelling, grammar, punctuation)
3. Lead quality audits to benchmark localized content, perform corrections and analyze areas of improvement.
4. Create or fix subtitle, metadata and ensure high quality localization of content
5. Provide inputs to update Prime Video's style guides to continue to raise the bar on customer experience.
6. Support 'end to end' program execution and support several projects, simultaneously.
7. Delegate the tasks to the team members to achieve best possible output, documents issues faced in running day to day operations and recommend improvements to tools and process based on experience.

• Knowledge of analytics & statistical tools such as SAS, Power BI, SQL & ETL DW concepts
• Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, Datazen, SSRS
• Experience back office operations, escalation management and troubleshooting environments
• Knowledge of SQL and Advanced Excel (Array and Statistical formulas)
