About the role:
DHL is hiring a Senior Billing Agent to join its Heredia, Costa Rica team. In this role, it provides support and results to achieve a correct, complete and timely solution to many situations that may arise. Additional tasks and requirements included, but are not limited to:

Main Responsibilities
- Execution of Controls (CRISP):
- Execute billing controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Provide information to auditors and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Create and Analyze Billing Reports and Data:
- Generate accurate and timely billing reports for management review.
- Analyze billing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to enhance billing processes.
- Automate Processes:
- Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline billing operations.
- Continuously evaluate existing processes and suggest enhancements to reduce manual or repetitive efforts.
- Share best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Customer Support:
- Address billing inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or currently studying Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or IT related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance environment, preferably in a senior role.
- Excellent Excel as an end user.
- English written (85%) and speaking (85%) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of billing systems and financial regulations.
- Desirable knowledge in Cognos
- Desirable proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software (e.g., Power BI,Phyton, SQL).
- Experience with process automation tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
