Job Summary
As a Senior Performance Engineer (12221) , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Job Summary
As a Senior Performance Engineer (12221) , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and execute performance tests to measure application scalability, stability, and responsiveness under various load conditions.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts for load, stress, endurance, and capacity tests, ensuring they simulate real-world usage.
- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and establish benchmarks to track performance improvements over time.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in high performance applications or services.
- An interest in optimizing and evaluating software from a non-functional point of view.
- Experience writing automated tests and measuring performance of software.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of Agile tools (e.g., JIRA) and processes.
- Able to execute within a distributed software development team.
