Senior Specialist, Digital Content
October 21, 2024
DEADLINE TO APPLY IS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4

The Senior Specialist, Digital Content will play a vital role in enhancing our flagship website, www.habitat.org, and improving the overall online experience for our global stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and potential partners.
Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding the main goal and key audiences for web copy that our writers produce. The candidate is responsible for publishing pages with tags in Drupal, posting teasers across the website to promote the content and to circulate traffic. The candidate writes captions, headlines and short copies as needed.
Successful cross functional collaboration is central to the role. An innovative and curious mindset to explore new ideas and leveraging data driven insights to bring Habitat’s rich story to life digitally is key to driving user engagement and Habitat’s continued relevancy.
The role requires strong visual and design aptitude, writing and editing skills, a background that includes a solid understanding (not necessarily expertise) of multiplatform content, Google Analytics, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), information architecture, and user experience.
