Zapotal Golf & Beach Club is seeking a Server to join the Food and Beverage Service Department.
The Server is responsible for contributing the a great member and guest dining experience. The server will provide excellent customer service, a robust understanding of the menu, and attention to detail during the members dining experience. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

• Get to know all the members, their families and guests by name and be familiar with their tastes and preferences.
• Perform all assigned tasks efficiently, promptly, professionally, and courteously. Follow all service sequence instructions, standard operating procedures, and checklists as directed by the Shift Supervisor or Food and Beverage Manager.
• To be an exemplary ambassador of Zapotal by always promoting the best interests of the club, promoting internal activities and events and making each visit special for all diners.
• Actively participate in all meetings, events and activities held in Food & Beverage.
• Take an interest in and take responsibility for promoting daily food and beverage offerings in order to improve
• Consistently average spending and keep members interested in new food and beverage ideas.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all co-workers and supervisors.
• Take care of all work equipment, uniforms, tools, and electronic equipment entrusted to them during their normal duties. Glassware, crockery and cutlery should always be spotlessly clean.
• Assist the Shift Supervisor in the opening and closing, assembly and disassembly of any shift or area that is his/her sole or shared responsibility.
• Supervise and observe the members' experience at dinner. Ensure guests are satisfied with all aspects of their dining experience and respond promptly and courteously to special requests or feedback.
• Charge all accounts accurately to reflect actual consumption, ensuring the correct member is always charged.
• Always be willing to help co-workers, without being asked, with any task that needs to be done.

• Preferably completed secondary education.
• At least 3 years of experience in a waiter position in a good hotel, fine dining restaurant or private club

• Participative, proactive, self-starting, service-oriented, good personal presentation, responsible, flexible, eager to learn, familiar with table service, good basic knowledge of food and beverage products and techniques.
• Experience in cooking, knowledge of wines.
