T&E Audit Specialist (Coyol- Alajuela)

The Travel & Expense (T&E) Auditor ensures employees' expense reports compliancy to the Global T&E Policy through auditing, leveraging technology, and exercising good judgment. Primary responsibilities include analyzing and auditing High-Risk reports flagged in the Concur Detect artificial intelligence (AI) tool and conducting Policy Audits for a defined subset of expense reports within the SAP Concur platform in areas not addressed by the AI tool defined in the SOP. This role will perform expense report auditing for multiple countries, resulting in improved compliance enforcement, customer experience, and savings.

What will you be doing?

Conduct External Audit In Concur Detect: Approve, reject, or escalate all expense reports flagged as High Risk based on the provided documentation in the Concur Detect AI tool against Policy within the defined SLA.
Leverage Detect reporting to provide input on savings opportunities or compliance risks to management.
Conduct Internal Audit in SAP Concur: Approve, reject or escalate all expense reports flagged by SAP Concur Audit based on the provided documentation in areas where the Concur Detect AI tool cannot address, within the defined SLA.
Travel & Expense Support:
- Provide tier 2 support for Concur Expense users when required within the defined SLA.
Support T&E process improvement projects as needed:
- Support process improvement projects as needed in the areas of T&E Policy, Auditing, and Concur Help Desk scripts.
- Look for areas of process improvement to ensure efficient and effective processing of T&E transactions.
Global Audit Activities: Detect, Analyze, and compile in Excel file (in conjunction with the Poland team) possible non-policy compliant transactions and send to the manager monthly.

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

Education

B.S. or B.A. Finance or systems-related degree.

Experience

1-2 years of experience in travel operations, expense auditing, or a related field.
Experience with travel management and expense auditing software, such as SAP Concur, and Concur Detect.

Competencies

Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot potential risks.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
