Job: An Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for producing electrical installation models and detailed drawings, using various software packages for new product and platform designs that meet company, regulatory and customer requirements. Aircraft Electrical Engineers are the architects of general electrical schematics, combining engineering expertise with a passion for aviation to create safe, reliable, and high-performance aircraft.

Role and Responsibilities of an Aerospace Designer:
Aircraft Design Engineers play a crucial role in the aviation industry, where they are responsible for the creation and development of aircraft designs:
- 3D harness design, electrical schematics and block diagrams
- Design and integration of electrical systems within aircraft seats to comply with company, regulatory and customer requirements
- Generating 2D/3D electrical installation and systems designs using CATIA 3DX software.
- Participate in Design Reviews throughout each phase of the Project process
- To communicate effectively and professionally with customers, suppliers & OEM's
- Ensure the successful integration of each design element within the product as a whole
- Participate in the validation of the product (using such methods as prototyping, test, etc)
- Follow and contribute to the development of the
- : 5+ years’ experience in Aircraft Electrical Wiring & Harness Design or related discipline.
- : Electrical power systems,
- : Extensive experience of working as a electrical engineer - within the Aerospace or similar environment
- The applicant should have also an understanding of the effective application of tolerances and a working knowledge of manufacturing processes, as well as OEM installation requirements. Ability to read design drawings and specifications.
- : BS degree required. Preferred in Aerospace/Electrical Engineering.
- : English (Advanced), other EU language (advantage)
- : up to 10%
- Direct experience at OEM aerospace manufacturers.
- Formal certification/training in CAD Electro.
- Proficiency in Catia V5/V6/3D Experience.
- Experience in design and development multi-level environment.
- Experience in Aerospace product development and certification processes.
