A Day in the Life

The Event Operations planner is responsible for coordinating the event from A to Z related to Healthcare Professional (HCP) training and education within Medtronic. Key to the role is to have excellent planning and sourcing skills in order to execute the events in a timely manner and with best customer experience from an event management perspective.

For this role you will need to be based in Prague, Czech Republic and willing to work within the office two-three days per week as per company requirements.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Direct support to event requestors, handling organization of digital and in-person events within respective Project/Business Stakeholders from A-Z
• Organize and manage full event logistics, create and maintain event website, capture the event budget & spend
• Monitor participant registrations & provide the event statistics to your stakeholders
• Business & event related communication with international colleagues from EMEA region
• Execute the contract management in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Maintain a direct communication with external Medtronic speakers
• Work with SAP system to successfully process payments to event suppliers. Support any payment related queries from your team

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience with event or hospitality management at least 1,5 year
• Ability to communicate written and oral in English
• Tactful communication and interpersonal skills, solid customer service
• Resistant to stress & great time management skills
• Willingness to internationally travel on-site if required by the event requestor
