Main purpose of the job
Responsible to drive strategic initiatives and best practices implementation across AEI within the supply chain planning function. Ensure developing, implementing and maintaining the standard AEI Supply and Planning approaches, and ultimately responsible for the quality of the plans produced, which include supply plans and schedules, stockholding inventory and stock deployment plans and standards in sync with demand plans, returnable containers plans, materials requirements directly associated with the manufacturing of finished products.

Collaborate with Supply Chain Directors and specialist in-country and above-country, focus on driving, providing guidance, thought leadership, and support to the broader supply chain organization and country teams.

More specifically, you will be trusted to:

• Develop and executes the strategic roadmap of the supply chain planning organization that deliver to both short- and long-term objectives , contributing to the development of the AEI business strategy.
• Interpret business strategy and develop strategic initiatives and best practices within supply chain planning function, providing guidance, thought leadership, and support to the broader supply chain organization and country teams.
• Improve the maturity level of the sales and operations process (S&OP), leveraging process, people, and tools to improve efficacy.
• Drive implementation of a standard Supply Planning approach across AEI. Explain, justify and promote methodologies, including underlying logic, to in-market Supply Chain organisation, and to Commercial and Manufacturing stakeholders where necessary.
• Develop and drive supply chain initiatives that enable speed, flexibility, and agility to optimize service and inventory levels that ensure product availability to meet company and supply chain business plan objectives.
• Define the Supply Planning Co E's vision, mission, and strategic goals and coordinates adherence of markets and implementation to this vision, aligning across AEI metrics, goals, checks and balances to measure and improve performance.
• Own the development & implementation of supply planning competencies across AEI and collaborate with relevant departments to create the right learning solutions to develop required competency levels and readiness of talent.
• Ensure that production, stock deployment, materials and resource plans meet the needs of Commercial and Manufacturing customers. Provide first line assistance to countries in resolving problems or clarifying issues.
• Collaborate cross functionally to set standards in master data management (MDM) to ensure a common understanding, consistency, accuracy and control in the ongoing maintenance and application use of information.
• Provide guidance and expertise to Country Supply Chain Directors and their Supply planning teams, suggesting ways in which the quality of supply plans can be improved. Together with other central functions support implementation of opportunities and optimization of supply through removal of capability and capacity bottlenecks.
• Co-ordinate the preparation of Budget Operating Plans across AEI ensuring that the outputs provide the required level of detail and are delivered on time and to the required quality.
• Supports and provides strategic insights for MTP and 10Y capacity and supply plans preparations across AEI to ensure roll out of underlying supply strategy, capacity- and capability-change initiatives, delivering optimised source of supply.
• Leverage data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to enhance supply chain decision-making.

Do you have what it takes?

• Supply Chain Professional with 10+ years of experience in management of supply chain planning operations in FMCG
• Bachelor Degree – in Engineering or one of the Supply Chain management areas.
• Demonstrable track-record in the optimising of supply chain networks and the application of best practice.
• Superior knowledge of best practices in supply planning.
• Expertise in Operations Research, numerical methods and analytics.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Power BI
• Proficiency in English
