Accounting Controller at Aalborg Portland Nordic & Baltic

As our Accounting Controller, you will be part of a highly skilled and collaborative team, responsible for overseeing financial reporting, controlling, and compliance. You will report directly to the Consolidation & Reporting Manager at Aalborg Portland and will play an important role in managing a diverse array of ongoing controlling tasks. This includes financial consolidation, analysis, and providing insights to our management team to support business decision-making. You will play a key role in improving financial processes by developing and implementing advanced reporting systems, working closely with various stakeholders across the business to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for multiple entities within the Aalborg Portland Group.

Conduct ad hoc financial analyses, covering areas such as financial statements, consolidation, and controlling, to provide key insights and inform strategic decisions.

Drive continuous improvements by developing and implementing processes that enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and transparency across the organization.

Provide critical financial support and insights to internal stakeholders, including senior management, to help drive performance and operational excellence.
Your Profile:
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with a specialization in Management Accounting, Controlling or similar.
You possess advanced Excel skills and have a solid understanding of financial reporting, data analysis, and consolidation processes. As a person you are highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively throughout the month. You are open to taking on new challenges and tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
You have an outgoing personality with excellent communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with colleagues across departments.
