We are seeking a Commercial Manager with experience in the wind energy industry or a strong technical background in renewable energy solutions.
This role is key to driving sales growth by expanding existing customer relationships and securing new business in designated markets. You will manage a mix of smaller growth opportunities and larger, complex deals requiring strategic insight.
The Commercial Manager will ensure we deliver value to both new prospects and existing clients, addressing their needs while driving business outcomes. A deep understanding of the sales process - from lead generation to closing deals - is essential, with a focus on building long-term partnerships and contributing to revenue growth and market expansion.
This is a full-time role that offers the flexibility to work either remotely from your home or from one of our European offices situated in Denmark, Poland, Portugal, and the United Kingdom.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sales and Commercial Strategy:
  • Develop and implement territory and account sales plans to meet or exceed targets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals in assigned markets.
  • For complex deals, collaborate with internal teams on technical tenders (e.g., Project Support, QHSE, Legal, Operations) to ensure successful delivery.
  • Create and present sales forecasts and project plans in cooperation with the Operations team.
  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to inform strategy.
  • Support business development activities including marketing, sales training, and strategy sessions.
Account Management:
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through procurement and decision-making processes.
  • Lead customer meetings and presentations and manage pricing and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely submission of proposals, tenders, and other relevant documentation.
  • Maintain a clear and updated sales pipeline, providing accurate revenue forecasts.
Essential Requirements and Competencies
  • Experience in the wind energy industry or a strong technical background related to renewable energy solutions.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales and account management, with a track record of managing complex deals.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, including tendering and contract management.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales goals.
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative approach and a commitment to going the extra mile.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point).
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Fluency in English.
  • A passion for renewable energy, particularly wind energy.
