Join a dynamic team working to implement methods for testing new biological products for Food, Agriculture and Human Health in Quality Control Laboratories.

LAD is part of GAIA, Global Assay Innovation & Automation with more than 100 amazing colleagues worldwide working to develop, optimize, align and automate QC methods to bring new Novonesis products in production and advance our product quality control with higher throughput.

We are an ambitious team of 22 highly skilled colleagues who know the importance of high-quality work as well as high-quality fellowship.

In this role you’ll make an impact by…
Working as Scientist in our team, you will be responsible for validating and optimizing analytical methods for Human Health products like probiotics. You will work closely with other scientists and laboratory technicians to plan and implement efficient microbiological methods to our QC laboratories located in Roskilde, Denmark and US. You will have focus on validation and transfer of microbial methods from method development to QC.

In the daily work you will also:

Validate, document and transfer analytical methods for Human Health to QC
Plan and coordinate experiments
Prepare protocols, SOP’s and reports
Have equipment responsibility and equipment requalifications
Interact with stakeholders in commercial, quality control function and QC to ensure a good fit between customer needs, authority requirements and daily workflow in QC

To succeed you must…
Hold an MSc degree, or higher level of education, within Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Science, or related scientific field.

Experience with development of q PCR methods and in general microbial method will be an advantage.
