Demand Planning Manager
Aarhus
FULL TIME
September 26, 2024
We are actively seeking a Demand Planning Manager to take ownership of our NOOS (Never Out of Stock) inventory, including forecasting, purchasing, and leading our demand planner.
JOIN A VIBRANT AND DEDICATED TEAM
In NOOS, we ensure that the best PIECES products are always available for our customers at our central warehouses and stores. The department has high strategic importance within PIECES, and the team is responsible for managing the product flow from suppliers to customers, guaranteeing the right stock at the right place at the right time.
Our NOOS department consists of 10 ambitious and skilled colleagues who are committed to making a difference for our customers by optimizing business through effective inventory planning. We work in a dynamic and results-oriented environment, prioritizing freedom with responsibility, innovation, and making a meaningful impact.
THE ROLE
As Demand Planning Manager, you’ll be deeply involved in strategic decisions. With your expertise in demand planning and strong analytical skills, you’ll ensure timely and accurate decisions, collaborating closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the brand. You will be responsible for translating strategies into simple, measurable actions by:
- Developing and implementing NOOS forecasting and planning strategies.
- Utilizing data, market insights, and AI to enhance sales performance.
- Collaborating with the purchasing team to secure the right capacity and lead time.
- Anticipating needs and creating realistic forecasts for our NOOS program.
- Leading and developing your team with a focus on well-being, growth, and goals.
- Continuously reviewing inbound orders in our supply chain and balancing purchases according to demand.
- Ensuring up-to-date, maintained, and comprehensible reporting of the Product Lifecycle for stakeholders.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic brand where your contribution will have a tangible impact. We have high ambitions and offer great opportunities. You’ll experience responsibility from day one, allowing you to make your mark in the PIECES NOOS department. Most importantly, you’ll join a team of highly skilled and engaged colleagues with boundless potential and a fun atmosphere, where we are more than just colleagues. We take ownership of our own well-being and development, as well as each other’s. Additionally, you'll have the chance to develop your leadership skills within a team that prioritizes well-being and personal growth.
YOUR PROFILE
You have a structured approach to your work and are naturally analytical. You embrace challenges, whether it’s handling large amounts of data, testing or solving complex forecasting models, or presenting your plans to stakeholders. You enjoy working in an open and fast-paced environment and have excellent collaboration skills, allowing you to build relationships with partners at all levels.
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, preferably within the fashion- or lifestyle industry.
- A relevant educational background, such as supply chain management or a similar field.
- An analytical and strategic approach to your work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
If you have any questions regarding the position, feel free to contact Lene Hagen Møller at +45 52 15 49 03. Otherwise, please send us your application and CV no later than October 24, 2024.
