The R&D Software department comprises of more than 70 people within software development and makes up for about 1/3 of the R&D organization in FOSS - and we are growing.
The job
We are looking for a C# developer to collaborate closely with our team on the Foss Calibrator project. You will work on a legacy platform, extending it with new features based on customer requests. We are currently in the early stages of defining a new version of the platform using web-based technology and follow an agile development process.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Development of software based on Microsoft technologies
(.Net, Azure, Entity Framework, MS SQL server, WPF) - Giving input to software design and architecture
- Create and maintain automatic tests
- Extend existing software solution with new features
- Support our testers during validation
- Participate in code reviews and giving feedback
Qualifications

- Experienced C#/.Net software developer
- Good at maintaining existing software
- Has a flair for troubleshooting
- Experience with Agile methodologies and scrum development processes
Personal skills
You have an analytical mindset and a methodical approach to software development, as well as the ability to bring a positive attitude into the development team. You do not mind flagging problem areas, and a flair for doing this in a positive and constructive manner.
People respect you, and like to work with you, because of your technical knowledge and ability to communicate complex concepts in a concise manner. You master the art of simplicity, and you promote continuous improvement to the way of working for you and your team.
