Experienced Management Consultant with interest in the Public Sector

Description of role and practice
Within the team, we assist several public sector clients across municipalities, regions, ministries, and agencies in solving some of society's biggest challenges. Depending on your profile and interests, you will get the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks, including:

Developing business cases and analyzing policies and political proposals to shape the organizational strategies of public sector clients
Formulating technology strategies and advising on the use of new technologies to reinvent digital service offerings or optimize processes
Spearheading the responsible use of data and artificial intelligence to create data driven, efficient and effective public services
Helping to shape and manage highly complex digital transformations and manage programs, projects and change
Advising on IT sourcing and procurement, executing public tenders and helping clients mature vendor and contract management capabilities

As a consulting manager you will lead smaller advisory projects and teams. You will be responsible for building trust-based relationships with the client and creating the best possible environment for the team to deliver high quality work. In addition to assisting our customers, you will make your mark on the department by contributing to business development work through identifying and driving client opportunities, contribution to the development of skills in the department, and being responsible for the professional growth of less experienced colleagues. You will engage with the broader Accenture Public Services community, as well as other Accenture organization groups, to foster collaboration and support growth and development of the business and bring the best of Accenture to our clients.

Job Requirements

You can work fluently in Danish, orally as well as written – this is a demand as the work language at our customers is Danish
You have 5+ years of relevant experience, for example from management or technology consulting
You have a strong analytical mindset combined with strong relationship skills and ability to manage stakeholders
You have experience with and interest in the public sector and/or a solid understanding of technology
You have a master’s degree relevant for public sector consulting or technology consulting with high grades
You can lead smaller teams and projects being responsible for client contact and deliverables
You have an interest in building business development and sales competences
