As a growing organization, we are always looking for ways to optimize our ways of working. As part of that process, we are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance Team in Copenhagen. In this role, you will join our VP of FP&A in supporting internal teams and leaders with making data-based financial decisions, building commercial and financial skills across the organization, and fostering a risk/reward decision-making mindset.

How you'll make an impact

As FP&A Analyst at Planday, you will support our VP of FP&A with shaping financial strategies and driving data-based decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with various departments to provide insightful financial analysis, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure financial goals are aligned with Planday’s long-term vision.

What you’ll do

Support the VP of FP&A by providing insights and financial modeling to assess the implications of business decisions.
Continuously improve data quality, processes, and the use of systems to enhance financial operations.
Generate insights to recommend operational improvements, optimize performance, and adapt to changing business conditions.
Support on yearly financial deliverables, including the creation of the annual budget and periodic reporting.
Assisting in the month-end reporting cycle and financial close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Success looks like

Financial Expertise: You are able to independently interpret financial statements, KPIs, and ratios.
Analytical Skills: You are analysing complex financial data and providing actionable insights to the teams and stakeholders you work with.
Communication Skills: You are consistently translating financial data into clear, actionable information for non-finance stakeholders.

What you’ll bring with you

Experience in Saa S business models.
Expertise in spreadsheets and handling large datasets.
Familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., Tableau).
Solid understanding of P&L and Balance Sheets.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to build relationships and work effectively in a global environment.
