Meet your new team!
We are looking for a talented Group Financial Controller to join our team. You’ll join a dedicated team responsible for the consolidation, group eliminations, and reporting of Oterra Group’s financial figures according to IFRS, and other accounting principles applied in the senior financing agreements. The team is based at our headquarters in DTU Science Park, Hørsholm.

What would your role look like?
This role is responsible for contributing to and maintaining Oterra’s financial guidelines and manuals for the controlling function. Further, the Group Financial Controller guides the Oterra finance community and broader organization on solid accounting practice and IFRS treatment of company events.

Duties and responsibilities:

Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing process, including consolidation and preparation of financial statements and notes.
Developing procedures and manuals for the controlling function including fast close, flash reporting, and M&A procedures.
Participate in the continuous development of our internal processes as well as centralizing relevant tasks to our shared service center.
Establish a trusted relationship with local finance managers to support the constant development of the monthly financial reporting, as well as identify opportunities and performance gaps to optimize and streamline processes beyond just monthly controlling.
Preparing selected management and board reports and presentations.
Supporting the onboarding of acquisitions on the Oterra platform and alignment to the Oterra financial guidelines, processes, and way of working.

The ideal candidate can manage multiple tasks in parallel without compromising quality or precision and desires a fast-paced learning curve, thriving on working independently in new and developing areas simultaneously. The ability to work in a multicultural and global organization will be appreciated and helpful in your daily tasks.

Experience and skills required

M.S. in finance, auditing, accounting, or similar.
+2 years’ experience in similar roles or from a Big 4 audit firm.
Previous experience with consolidated financial statements and M&A activities.
Experience with SAP and superuser with MS Office, including Excel and Power Point.
An ability to oversee a large group of stakeholders in different functions and geographies.
Proven record of great problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
Enjoy working internationally and with different cultures, possessing the ability to read, write, and speak fluent working English.
