To support our overall digitalisation vision, we are looking for a GIS specialist to join our team. We are 30+ members in Digitalisation working alongside our customers on some of Denmark’s most significant transportation infrastructure projects, as well as other large digitalisation projects in Denmark and internationally. We are thrilled to be contributing to projects like the new M5 metro line in Copenhagen, as well as the Fehmarn connection between Denmark and Germany.
Your key responsibilities will be:

• To bring your GIS and digital expertise into play on COWI’s large projects and to contribute as a specialist on projects where GIS plays an integral role;
• Develop and maintain web GIS applications using ESRI Arc GIS Server and Java Script API
• Create and maintain applications on Arc GIS Experience Builder and Developer Edition;
• Create, design and develop GIS data models, geodatabases and perform data analysis and quality control;
• Integrate GIS with other systems and technologies, such as GPS and remote sensing; and
• Provide technical guidance and support to GIS users.

On top of that, you will have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Arc GIS – primarily from a consulting company
• Experience with implementation of GIS systems in conjunction with other systems and processes such as BIM and CDE on large projects/projects
• Experience in infrastructure projects such as transportation and rail is beneficial, along with expertise in civil construction, energy, or urban planning. The key qualification is strong proficiency in the Arc GIS Platform, relevant across sectors.
• Experience with Arc GIS Online, Arc GIS Enterprise, and Arc GIS Pro. Experience with FME is also a valuable skill.
• Experience with or understanding of BIM and interfaces between GIS and BIM is beneficial.
• Proficiency in English at a business level is needed. Fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages (Danish, Swedish or Norwegian) is desirable.
