How you will make an impact
As our Innovation Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening our prominent brands, Apetina and Skyr, which are currently worth more than 160m euros and experiencing significant growth across markets.

It will be your task to lead innovations for the brands. On Arla Skyr we have the exciting journey of continuing to build penetration in an expanding Skyr segment via new occasions, product renovation and meeting new consumer needs. You will also have the opportunity grow Arla Apetina which sits in our Cooking Inspiration growth territory through inspiring consumers to use our products in new occasions and cuisines. You will become part of our Arla Brand team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across various markets. You will report to the Director of Apetina & Skyr.

More specifically, you will:

• Via cross market collaboration, lead and drive innovation within Apetina and Skyr, developing the right portfolio on associated brands, focusing on big scalable innovations across market. Working closely to drive innovation hand in hand with the brand team
• Be part of setting the innovation agenda for the coming 3-5 years
• Have end-to-end ownership of projects - from concept development to product development (in collaboration with product/pack development team and other functions)
• Secure approval through Arla’s gate process with market commitment and ultimately handover to the brand team
• Be part of driving global governance model with single point of contact for markets, fostering strong communication and contracting on expectations with different stakeholders

For this role, you can be based in any of our European markets; Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, The Netherlands or UK. Due to Brexit implications, we are, however, restricted on what is possible for candidates that are UK based. Here, people can of course consider relocating.

You should expect travel activities corresponding to a few times a month across Europe (if you are based in Viby Denmark, travel will be less) and otherwise work from home or utilize our offices in one of our European markets. Travel requirements will vary through the year.

You know innovation and how to develop brands through innovation. You have strong analytical and creative skills to develop strong innovations that deliver for the consumer, category and our P&L. You are a great collaborator, knowing how to bring people along on the journey, building strong relationships and networks. You are passionate about pioneering the future of brand development, aiming to enhance growth, profitability, scalability, and brand equity.

• Besides this, you:
• Have a passion for innovation – thinking both shopper, consumer, customer/channel, category and commercially
• Have several years of experience from a similar innovation role
• Have strong project management skills with the ability to run projects across functional team – with a strong focus on cost, scale, quality and time
• Have experience in building the commercial side of innovation e.g. P&L, pricing etc.
• Are fluent in English
