How you might spend your days
As a Security Analyst, your key responsibilities will be:

• Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
  
• Monitoring and respond to security incidents
  
• Implementing and maintaining security policies and procedures
  
• Collaborating with vendors, IT and other departments to ensure compliance with security standards
  
• Performing security audits and assessments
  
• Providing training and support to employees on security best practices

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

• 1 to 5 years of experience with IT Projects or IT Security
  
• Experience with writing and maintaining scripts to automate repetitive tasks
  
• Familiarity with automation concepts
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field
  
• Knowledge of Information Security standards – e.g. ISO 27001, CIS18 or NIST
  
• Knowledge of information security tools and practices
  
• Experience with incident response and risk management
