About The Job

As the Manager of Product Management for Tubes & Fittings, Pumps & Valves at Alfa Laval, you will lead the strategic direction for our product portfolio of tubes & fittings, pumps and valves . You'll be responsible for developing and driving our product management strategy for these products, overseeing a dedicated team of product managers. Your role will involve managing the entire product lifecycle - from new product development to obsolescence - while collaborating closely with several stakeholders from different departments, sales, R&D, and operations. You’ll create and maintain roadmaps to ensure competitiveness and oversee critical tasks, including:

Conducting cost structure analyses and pricing strategies (PPL).
Creating and maintaining product and supply roadmaps to drive top and bottom line.
Prioritizing new and existing product development initiatives.
Initiating compliance-related EPD activities and managing product information management data.
Overseeing assortment control and product obsoletion/termination processes.

The position will be based in Kolding, Denmark. We expect travel activity to be approximately 20-30 days a year.

What You Know:

To excel in this role, you should bring:

Over 10 years of experience in the hygienic industry, with a master’s degree in engineering or business.
Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures, driving plans and strategies while collaborating effectively with departments like Sales, R&D, and Operations.
Strong engagement, motivation, and networking skills.
Excellent communication abilities, capable of effectively conveying strategic visions and operational plans.
A strategic outlook with the ability to translate ambitions into actionable challenges, fostering an organizational understanding and commitment to achieving results.
Experience in mentorship and coaching, employing a leadership style that builds trust and enables teams to handle challenges such as customer delays and supply chain issues.
Alignment with Alfa Laval values: a drive for results, organizational savvy, and effective networking skills.
Comfort with managing ambiguity and leading international teams.
Proficiency in analytics, utilizing data to enhance product understanding and optimize lifecycle management.
