Translate business needs into data platforms and BI products
Joining the ECCO’s Data & AI department at our hub in Copenhagen, you will be the Scrum Product Owner for two Scrum teams within the Delivery & BI team. Each team consists of data engineers, BI architects, and BI developers (5 and 8 team members, respectively, most based in Poland).
Together, the 2 Scrum teams play a central role in developing datasets essential to ECCO's operations and our journey towards becoming a more data-driven organisation. By developing our common data platform and BI products, the teams enable insightful analytics and help inform decision-making across the organisation.
Their work supports daily operations and drives strategic initiatives that enhance ECCO's competitive edge in the market.
As the Scrum Product Owner, you will:
Experience from a similar role in a Data Platform or BI Development Context
You are known for your ability to prioritise tasks to maximise business value while managing stakeholder expectations. Also, you have great communication skills and know how to navigate a cross-functional environment with competing business objectives.

As the Scrum Product Owner, you will:
- Develop and communicate a product vision aligned with ECCO’s OKRs and Data & AI goals.
- Own the product and sprint backlog, product goal, and product roadmap.
- Facilitate sprint planning and review, prioritise resources, and ensure timely delivery of increments.
- Foster continuous improvement by integrating feedback from reviews and retrospectives.
- Facilitate communication between Scrum teams and business stakeholders by ensuring roadmap alignment and managing dependencies.
- Provide stakeholders with product updates, timelines, and outcomes to ensure continuous business value.
- Further integrate and develop Scrum ways of working in the Scrum teams.
Experience from a similar role in a Data Platform or BI Development Context
You are known for your ability to prioritise tasks to maximise business value while managing stakeholder expectations. Also, you have great communication skills and know how to navigate a cross-functional environment with competing business objectives.
We also imagine that you:
- Hold a degree in engineering, business, IT, or have equivalent experience within a Data Platform or BI development context.
- Have 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master, or similar within Data Platform or BI development.
- Possess a solid understanding of developing and delivering data platforms and BI products to business stakeholders.
- Navigate confidently in MS Azure Dev Ops or Jira.
- Are fluent in English.
