The Concept Designer for Radiometer is responsible for transform user needs into tangible and executable system concepts as part of Acute Care Diagnostics (ACDx) Product Systems i.e. concepts within Blood gas, Immunoassay or Transcutaneous monitoring.

This position is part of the R&D Product Systems organization located in Brønshøj, Denmark and will be on-site. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

You will be a part of the Systems Concept team and report to the R&D Senior Manager, Concept Systems responsible for Concept definition, UX Desing & Usability Engineering. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Establish and be responsible for Product Systems Concept Design process
  
• Coordinate and facilitate Concept of Operations, from idea to conclusion
  
• Visualize and build early-stage mock-up and prototypes
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally within and outside R&D
  
• Execute/Participate in user research and Usability tests to understand user needs
  

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Master, Bachelor within Engineering, Interaction/Product design or similar
  
• +5 years of experience with product development and conceptualization, preferably Medical Devices
  
• Solid experience with conceptualization tools e.g. Adobe Creative cloud, Figma, Miro or similar
  
• Experience working with technical concepts and designs
  
• Fluent in English, written and verbal
  
• Ability to travel when needed ~ 5-10% is expected
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Solid collaboration, communication, and facilitation skills
  
• Bring a curious and solution oriented mindset
  
• Are able to move insights or problems to solutions
