Your position
You will be employed in the Transitional Energies Division with approx. 1200 employees. Our Engineering, Fabrication, and Service support both Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind, Marine and energy infrastructure projects. Our fabrication facilities are located at the quayside at our HQ in Esbjerg.
As our new Sales Director in the division Transitional Energies, you will join our passionate and highly skilled Corporate Sales Team, where you will take part in our growing business's ambitious growth strategy. You will refer directly to the Vice President, Bente Droob.
”In this role, you will be responsible for the sales for our Fabrication, Engineering & Service. You will join an amazing team of colleagues – and you will be working closely with sales colleagues, the legal department, project managers, engineers, and the tender team.” – Vice President, Bente Droob.
This full-time position is based at our HQ in Esbjerg by the seafront.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
  • Improve market position as part of strategic growth ambitions
  • Strategy Sales Management
  • Analyse customers, market, trends and sales data
  • Proactively identify, review and act on new business opportunities
  • Prepare and execute sales plans
  • Plan, prepare and implement customer meetings
  • Review complex tender material
  • Prepare offers for both small- and large-scale tenders
  • Develop and maintain strong and close relations with clients and follow-up on collaboration with key account customers
  • Develop and mature Semco Maritime concepts
  • Give input to budget and strategy objectives
Your profile & qualifications
You are a motivated and solution-oriented sales professional who is self-driven and wants to engage in and work as part of a team.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
  • Strong sales background and solid management skills, preferably with experience in the industry, and you are driven by goals and results.
  • You have a strong network within the national wind and/or Pt X industry
  • You have experience and network within production/fabrication.
  • Focus on commercial activities and customer needs.
  • Customers see you as a valuable, inspiring, and trustworthy partner
  • You are able to quickly capture market trends and customer needs, and you find it easy to transform your thoughts and ideas into action.
  • Excellent communication skills in Danish and English, and you can establish relationships based on trust and close cooperation.
