As a Student Assistant in Energi Danmark’s Legal and Compliance team, you will work with a combination of both operational and development-oriented tasks within i.e. energy law, energy trading contracts, compliance areas within GDPR, EU energy trading regulations and IT-Security.

You will, without a doubt, strengthen your legal skills, joining forces with Energi Danmark and contribute to the green transition.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITY

The position is targeted for around 15-20 hours pr. week and will be flexible towards your lectures.

You will work with and develop your skills within:
Our GDPR compliance setup
Tasks related to IT-security, including the ongoing implementation of NIS2
Drafting and negotiating energy trading contracts
Optimizing and maintaining the group’s standard contracts
Tasks related to trade compliance and regulations, including REMIT
Gaining access to new markets and maintenance of existing markets
Projects within the group and general legal and compliance advisory

You will be in close sparring with your colleagues, and you will be closely linked to the business of Energi Danmark and other functions in the group.

YOUR PROFILE

You are preferably on your bachelor’s or master’s in law or commercial law (cand. merc.jur.). Other relevant educational backgrounds i.e. within IT are welcomed as well.

You preferably have 1-2 years’ experience from another student position. Most importantly is that you have a great interest in the energy area.

As a person, you are structured and thorough and you are willing to learn and develop your skills within energy law and regulations.

Other qualifications:
Fluent in written and spoken English
Detail-oriented and good prioritizing skills
Proactive and independent in your working approach
Flexible approach and good communications skills

As a Student Assistant in Legal and Compliance, you will manage tasks both within the Legal Team, consisting of 4 employees, and the Compliance Team, consisting of 2 employees.
