Would you like to help children create and shape with their hands through woodworking and have fun around the fire while preparing delicious pancakes, together with 3 other sweet volunteers and 8 wonderful children?
If the answer is YES, it only requires 8 times of your time! The autumn course runs from 26 September to 21 November 2024, except for the autumn holidays, every Thursday at 16.00 - 18.45.

Description of your task:
As a volunteer on our course "Build, Hyg and Pancakes", you get a unique opportunity to work closely with children and three other committed volunteers. Your role will be to guide, support and inspire the children as they explore different woodworking techniques and learn to work with tools and materials. Together with the team, you will plan and carry out activities where the children construct nest boxes, design wooden board games and have fun around the fire baking pancakes. The children will take home some of their projects, while others will be exhibited and sold at our festive Christmas market and closing day.

Your tasks will therefore include:
To support and guide the children in woodworking techniques so that they have a fun and educational experience.

To help organize and run the activities on the course, including building nest boxes, designing and making board games and pancake baking.

To make sure that all the children are safe and have fun along the way.

To help create a cozy and creative atmosphere where the children can unleash their imagination and learn new skills.

To participate in the clean-up after each session so that materials and work areas are in good condition for the next time.
