Full Job Description
We are currently in search of a highly energetic and customer-focused Level 2 Support Engineer to contribute to our company's rapid growth and ongoing success. The ideal candidate for this role is a passionate troubleshooter who excels in areas such as Firewall, NAS/Backup, and Virtualization, while also possessing excellent customer service skills. As a valuable member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the functionality of customer services, implementing new solutions, supporting global customer products, and providing exceptional customer support. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the satisfaction of our valued customers.

Core Responsibilities

• Automate data backups and recovery operations in virtual environments.
• Build, maintain, and provide support for Qnap storage systems.
• Maintain and upgrade operating systems across multiple platforms, including Windows, OSX, Linux, BSD, etc.
• Operate VMWare, Proxmox, and Open Stack virtualization environments.

• Create, maintain, and update all documentation, including procedures and training materials.
• Monitor, administer, and maintain the customer and company’s platforms.
• Administer and support Customer Firewalls p FSense and Watchguard.
• Administer and support Cutomer Watchguard EPDR (End Point Security).
• Administer and support Customer WHM/Cpanel server.

• Administer and support Customer Qnap and S3 Cloud Storage and Backups.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, telematics Engineering or similar areas;
• Experience supporting 24x7, high availability application environments, servers, load balancing systems, and clustered shared storage solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision and willingness to work extended hours if required.
• Possess a high degree of creativity and latitude in problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Fluency in English is a MUST
