Cash Operations Executive

The Role
Job Description - Conduct regular audits and spot checks on cash operations, focusing on cash counting, vault management, and cash transfers - Collaborate with cash operations teams to implement process improvements and address recurring issues effectively - Ensure compliance with all cash-handling processes and procedures - Monitor daily cash transactions and balances to identify and address discrepancies or variances promptly - Investigate and resolve issues related to overages, shortages, and misallocations of funds - Generate reports for management that highlight trends, issues, and areas for improvement in cash-handling processes - Analyze cash transactions across branches, identifying unsettled amounts and tracking them - Prepare and follow up on daily reports concerning branch settlement arrears to ensure timely resolution - Identify and assess potential risks within the cash operations process, including fraud, theft, and operational inefficiencies - Maintain accuracy and minimize risks in cash operations, which is critical to the overall financial health of the organization
Requirements
Skills - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field. - 0-2 Years of experience in cash operations, banking, or financial services; quality control experience is a plus. - Ownership - Functional Skills - Ideas' Presentation and Taking Initiative - Continuous Learning - Customer Centricity - Ability to detect even minor discrepancies in cash-handling operations - Strong ability to investigate and resolve complex issues related to cash variances and risks - Ability to clearly document findings and communicate recommendations with management and operational staff - High level of professionalism in dealing with sensitive financial data and processes
