Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with 4-7 years of site experience to join our team in Accra, Ghana. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in managing construction sites and interpreting technical drawings for residential and commercial high-rise projects. This role requires a proactive leader who can assemble and manage a team of foremen, workers, and other essential site personnel through their own network.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and understand construction drawings, ensuring accurate implementation on-site.
Monitor site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
Manage all aspects of site construction, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Work on residential and commercial high-rise projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
Operate and have knowledge of construction machinery such as excavators, cranes, etc.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and site workers, to ensure seamless project execution.
Assemble and build a reliable team of foremen, workers, and other necessary site personnel through personal network connections.
Handle any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
Prepare and submit site reports, schedules, and other documentation as required.
Requirements:
Experience: 4-7 years of site experience, particularly in residential and commercial high-rise projects.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Strong site management and coordination skills.
Must-Have: Proven ability to assemble and lead a team of foremen and workers through a personal network.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
