ASSIGNMENT BACKGROUND
The project's performance data was successfully transferred from an MS Excel-based system to one based on SQL. Given the growing volume of project data and the desire to mitigate transcription errors while upholding data integrity, implementing the SQL system furnishes the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) team with an automated mechanism for processing and analyzing data. This substantially enhances their ability to measure progress toward targets in a more streamlined and effective manner and enhances the project’s ability to visualize the relevant data. USAID TRADE is seeking to hire a short-term consultant to assist the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and Result I and Result 2 teams in implementing changes to the system based on the evolving information needs of the project and address any database issues when needed.
