APPGAIN is seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure to support our organization's data-driven initiatives.
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize data warehousing and data lake solutions.
• Implement data quality and governance processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Utilize cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) to process and analyze large datasets.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using programming languages like Python, SQL, and Scala.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate data pipelines with applications and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala).
• Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of data modeling and data governance principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
