Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and optimize data warehousing and data lake solutions.
- Implement data quality and governance processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Utilize cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) to process and analyze large datasets.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using programming languages like Python, SQL, and Scala.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate data pipelines with applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala).
- Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of data modeling and data governance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
