Created and updated purchase orders using SAP.
• Summarized and analyzed vendor bids using spreadsheets.
• Negotiated contracts with suppliers by assessing all cost elements, terms and conditions, and delivery dates to determine the best bid and achieve best value for the organization.
• Ensured all vendor payments are done on time, by issuing the payment requests and monitoring the payment status with full coordination with other involved parties.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations and timely deliveries.
• Coordinated with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing needs and develop sourcing plans for a newly established manufacturing plant.
• Conducted supplier performance reviews annually on SAP.
• Managed relationships with vendors by aiding throughout the procurement process to maintain close cooperation.
• Analyzed market trends and evaluated potential sources for new products.
• Resolved any discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders.
• Managed inventory levels in three different factories and one main warehouse to ensure timely availability of goods while avoiding overstock.
• Monitored market trends, pricing, and industry news to identify opportunities for cost saving initiatives.
• Engaged in strategic sourcing projects that improved quality, delivery time, and pricing objectives.
• Organized periodic meetings with colleagues to review the status of requisitions, contracts, non-conformity reports, and open orders.
