ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Distribution Lead to join us. This pivotal role involves overseeing the logistics and distribution operations to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers. The Distribution Lead will be responsible for coordinating with various departments. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can handle complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.

ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Management:

• Lead and supervise a team of distribution planners.
• Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor performance.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

Shipment Planning:

• Ensure accurate and efficient creation of shipment plans.
• Assign shipments to drivers based on route optimization and capacity.
Coordinate with warehouses to ensure timely product availability.

Delivery Follow-Up:

• Track shipment progress and monitor delivery timelines.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the delivery process.
Maintain open communication with warehouses and drivers to ensure smooth operations.

Performance Metrics:

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution, such as on-time delivery rates, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and optimize distribution processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
• Implement new technologies or systems to enhance efficiency.

Customer Service:

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to deliveries.
• Ensure that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.

ARE THSES YOUR SECERET INGRIDENTS

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in distribution or logistics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Proficient in using transportation management systems and other relevant software.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
