Key Responsibilities

Oversees end to end processes and ensures quality output whilst meeting
customer needs. - Performs Shipping Operations related tasks assigned in the respective sub process Achieves expected
- productivity, timelines and quality targets and controls errors
- Has responsibility for prompt and effective response to emails
- Identifies process gaps, cost leakages, cost avoidance/saving ideas and suggestions on process improvements
- Attends process training/refresher to have required skillsets to carry out tasks in an error-free manner

Handles discharge activities in close cooperation with the GSC and
countries. -
Handles load activities in close cooperation with the GSC and countries
and ensures no units will be loaded unless cleared. -
Handles transshipment bookings as advised by the responsible capacity
desks and optimizes the network at the lowest possible costs. - Executes all inter-terminal transfers.
- Handles all changes to discharge, load and transshipment bookings.
- Ensures timely and accurate release of all vessels.
- Drives cost effectiveness in the cargo execution process.
- Responsible for Performance Management of the GSC.

Pro-actively reduces waste such as longstanding containers, re-
nominations and cargo no-shows. - Responsibility for special cargo operation.

Identifies and suggest continuous improvement possibilities in the ways
of working. -
Identifies and executes cost reductions through the Smart OPS process
within the team.
What are we looking for
- Relevant university degree, fresh graduates or candidates with maximum 3 year relevant experience
- Excellent level of English
- Computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Arabic speaking mandatory
