General Accountant

We seek a meticulous and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Prepare journal entries to record all financial transactions accurately in the general ledger

system.

Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure general ledger accounts are properly coded and

mapped.

Reconcile all balance sheet accounts (cash, receivables, payables, inventory, fixed assets etc.)
-
monthly. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.

Managing consolidated monthly financial statements including income statement, balance
-
sheet, and cash flow statement.

Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual Closings.
-
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Implement
-
improvements where needed.
-
Prepare reports for statutory filings and tax purposes.
-
Liaise with external auditors to provide required information for the annual audit process.

Audit financial transactions and documents
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
-
1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
-
Superior communication skills in Arabic and English both written & spoken.
-
Knowledge of Egypt VAT and statutory reporting requirements.
-
Expertise in preparing financial statements and reports using ERP software.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Adaptability and team player attitude.

Commitment to integrity, accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
