The Opportunity:
As a Trade Manager, you will report directly to the Head of the business Unit in Egypt and have overall responsibility for commercial channel management across the country.
You will ensure Astellas’s retail and tender sales channel management for existing and upcoming portfolios and be involved in establishing long-term relationships with wholesalers to achieve sales targets within pre-defined budget

Hybrid Working:

Key Activities:
Providing the necessary recommendations for the distribution of the national sales targets established quarterly or semi-annually.
Perform stock tracking for distributors, visiting warehouses as a single point of contact.
Carrying out efficient field and competitive activity tracking warehouse analyses, actively monitoring the trends and sales movements throughout Egypt, and assessing and regularly reporting all data obtained.
Cooperating with sales managers in planning the activities required for maximizing promotional activities, monitoring results, and providing feedback.
Key accounts/chain pharmacies Orders follow up to ensure proper time delivery from Distributor branches till order execution all over governates in Egypt.
Monitoring total distributor stock as well as each branch stock per SKU.
Supporting new product Launches (Distributor awareness, Activities & Pharmacies seeding plan).
Ensure availability of new products at target branches of distributors.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:
Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry/Distributor, having gained well-rounded exposure to diverse therapeutic areas, within multinational environments and matrix structures.
Relationship with key stakeholders with different distributors is mandatory.
Pharma sector experience with strong customer focus; in multi-disciplinary, matrix, and cross-cultural settings.
Strong written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
Demonstrated track record of sales management success is a plus.
Solid strategic thinking and planning capability for Sales Force Excellence; direction over short, mid, and long-term horizons according to the business models, coupled with a result/goal-oriented approach toward businesses.

Education/Qualifications:
University degree in Business/Economics/Medicine/Pharmacy or equivalent.

Additional Information:
This is a permanent, full-time position.
The position is based in Cairo, Egypt.
Candidates should be based in Egypt.
This position follows our hybrid working model. Role is blend of work from home and a minimum of 2-3 days in the Cairo office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
