Responsibilities:
- handle the process of exporting & importing products from initiating till arrival.
- Implement the shipping plan on a daily basis and Handle export shipments from bookings to billing until completion
- Handle & follow up shipments with customs clearance department and transport contractors, and Follow-up e-mails with the shipping line and agents.
- Track shipments to ensure that they are delivered on time and in the right condition.
- Ensure that all documentation meets the import & export regulations (commercial invoices, bill of lading).
- Prepare and file import & export documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
- Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly.
* have a good knowledge in the import & export processes
* have experience in shipping procedures & inco terms as well
* Handle pricing updates for new and existing businesses
* Work closely with agents to secure the pricing necessary to close business.
* Request rates with carriers and overseas agents and follow up with filing.
* Friendly with cross shipments.
