Location: Egypt, Cairo
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Real-Time Transportation Visibility:
- Implement and manage real-time visibility tools to track shipments and proactively address potential disruptions
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize transportation efficiency
- Collaborate with all the parties to ensure accurate process
Electronic Proof of Delivery (e POD):
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of e POD systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Analyze e POD data to identify opportunities for process improvement
Carrier Collaboration Applications:
- Deploy and develop applications supporting the collaboration with the carriers
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize transportation efficiency
- Collaborate with all the parties to ensure accurate process
Application Support:
- Provide technical support for various transportation applications
- Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze transportation data to identify trends and opportunities
- Generate reports to track performance and measure the impact of initiatives
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with TMS and WMS implementations and integrations
- Knowledge of transportation routing and optimization software
- Familiarity with APIs and web services
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®)
- Proven experience in transportation and logistics, with a focus on technology solutions
- Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
