Job Description:
The Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Manager is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving the expansion of Digital School by Berlitz in Egypt. This role will focus on developing new business, forming alliances with educational and corporate partners, and fostering long-term relationships to support the school’s growth objectives. The manager will work closely with the management team to create and execute strategies that enhance market presence, increase enrollment, and expand service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive the growth of Digital School by Berlitz, including partnerships with schools, educational organizations, and tech companies.
Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Research and stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adjust business strategies accordingly.
Partnerships & Alliances:
Establish and manage partnerships with external stakeholders such as schools, companies, NGOs, and tech firms to promote Digital School’s offerings.
Negotiate partnership agreements that align with Digital School’s objectives, ensuring mutual value for all parties involved.
Build long-term relationships with partners, ensuring effective collaboration and shared success.
Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement growth strategies for both the physical and digital learning platforms of Digital School by Berlitz.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design campaigns and initiatives that support
partnership goals and enrollment growth.
Analyze market data, sales trends, and partner feedback to refine business development
strategies.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
Identify and engage potential clients, partners, and sponsors to drive enrollment and revenue
for both online and in-person programs.
Develop pricing models, business proposals, and presentations to showcase Digital School by Berlitz’s value to potential partners.
Monitor sales performance, track revenue metrics, and report results to senior management.
Relationship Management:
Maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring continued collaboration and identifying new opportunities for mutual growth.
Regularly communicate with key stakeholders to assess partnership performance and explore new avenues for expansion.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the operations, marketing, and academic teams to align business development efforts with Digital School’s educational goals.
Provide input into curriculum development and product offerings based on market needs and partner feedback.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, preferably in the education or technology sector.
Proven track record of successfully forming and managing partnerships that drive revenue and growth.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify and capitalize on new business
opportunities.
Knowledge of the education technology sector and digital learning platforms is a plus.
