Responsibilities / المسؤوليات:
- Executes the daily production schedule of his shift, organising and administrating the technical personnel of his area of responsibility, e.g. raw material reception, secondary crushing, stacking and reclaiming, raw material grinding, raw meal blending, clinker burning, site material transport, cement grinding packing plant etc., in a way that secures the optimum operation of all job positions and development of the required end product within the specified technical standards and safety and environment regulations
- Develops and upon approval implements the shift schedule of the production, taking into consideration potential obstacles and difficulties, e.g. equipment malfunction or personnel shortage, to correspond efficiently to the plant’s production targets
- Overviews the efficient operation of equipment and personnel, to meet company’s operational standards (e.g. cost, equipment efficiency, timeliness of product delivery, effectiveness of personnel), proposing and upon approval implementing methods of improvement
- Develops the technical shift report regarding the efficiency of plant production, quality and engineering performance, informing accordingly the Production Manager and coordinating with the respective departments and shift technicians, to implement corrective actions whenever necessary, thus ensuring the smooth operation of the production process
- Works closely with the Production Manager during running and major shutdowns and supervises the production cleaning and maintenance activities in the area of responsibility, ensuring that the implementation of maintenance and improvement activities are according to schedule and within targets
- Cooperates with other technical departments of the plant, exchanging and communicating ideas and suggestion for improvement that will enhance the work relationships throughout the plant, as well as increase the information flow of the current production process
- Ensures that all personnel acts according to company’s health, safety and environmental procedures and standards, providing the necessary support to all employees and identifying and reporting issues of consideration in order to meet the respective regulations
- Motivates, develops and manages his team in a way that ensures high level of initiative, professionalism, cooperation and development opportunities
- Participates or leads ad-hoc projects that may go beyond his/hers formal accountabilities, so as to satisfy and respond accordingly to business needs

Working knowledge of cement manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent Negotiation skills
- Excellent MS-Office skills (Especially MS-Project, MS-Excel)
- Good problem analysis and solving skills
- Ability to work independent and with groups
- Very good command of English
