Location: Egypt, Cairo.
Act as UI/UX Manager you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our products, leading a design team and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centered design solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design Leadership
- Lead a small cross-functional team of designers by defining, prioritizing, and driving UI/UX initiatives.
- Work across the organization to ensure we are building a coherent, cohesive, and consistent product experience for our customers.
- Advocate user-centered design principles and processes across organizations.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior and senior designers to help grow their domain knowledge, offer support in giving design direction, and foster collaborative and creative working environments.
Product Strategy
- Participate in cross-functional team strategic planning sessions and workshops to align design objectives with business goals.
- Monitor multiple project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet objectives and deadlines.
- Work closely with product managers to support defining product vision, goals, and roadmaps. (to ensure Ui/UX design goals are well linked with product vision, goals and roadmaps)
UI/UX Design Strategy
- Owning (Create, Enhance, Adapt) the UI/UX Strategy, ensuring it is in line with DTPS Strategy
- Communicating and cascading the UI/UX Strategy across all DTPS Platforms
- Act as Product Owner for Design System and ensure it’s utilization across the organization and is un synch with latest Company Communication guidelines
UI/UX Product Design
- Support your team in translating use cases into End-2-End design solutions to depict a user journey from beginning to end. Ensure x-functional designs meet end user / customer smooth and effective experience.
- Deep dive into analyzing proposed E2E workflows and offer critiques and areas of improvement to ensure that user needs have been met effectively and intuitively.
- Drive design meetings with Product Managers, Front-end and Back-end developers, and other stakeholders to understand all paradigms, perform design review iterations, and ensure seamless implementation of proposed designs.
- Conduct user research, user interviews, and perform usability testing to support product designers in designing the best prototypes that they can.
- Collect and define design system UI component requirements, UI standards & guidelines, and drive accessibility compliance.
- Work closely with Product Managers to enhance defined use cases through a design thinking approach, driving user focus groups, and other such UX methodologies.
Collaborate and Communicate
- Experienced in Agile methodologies and software development practices while integrating a User-Centered Design (UCD) process.
- Lead your team by example and drive team meetings for all to present, share, and critique designs in order to learn and enhance expertise.

Support communicating design concepts and ideas effectively to stakeholders, both verbally and visually.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Cognitive Psychology, Web Design or related field..
- 7+ years of experience in Product Design, UI/UX Design, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring design teams.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem solver, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude that is able to work and scale within a fast-growing environment while thinking and planning strategically.
- Strong people management skills and brings motivation, excitement and engagement of the team
