Discover the Role
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for providing efficient and quality service to the assigned portfolio of international clients.
In this role, you will have the possibility to work on Accounting & Tax cases from A-Z, which will further fuel your career development.
This isn't a pure accounting role, we're acting as Consultants and guide and advise our clients on a variety of different matters, including preparation for audits.
Our future colleague will report to the A&T Team Leader and will be supported for growth by the manager and the TMF Business Academy curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality delivery of accounting services to existing customers
• Prepare corporate reports for the customer, year-end closing procedures, and annual reports
• Review bookkeeping and prepare reconciliations
• Independently prepare VAT returns and corporate income tax returns
• Being a contact person for the clients, tax advisors, lawyers, and other relevant parties to obtain the necessary information for reporting purposes
• Being a true team player

Key Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in accounting or audit in the financial services industry
• Analytical structured mindset with the ability to follow and build upon existing processes and ensure data is maintained with accuracy and consistency
• Good knowledge of Excel (macros, automation, etc.)
• Good command of written and verbal communication both in Finnish and English
• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Accounting, Audit, etc. would be considered an advantage
