WGBS Invoice to Pay team is now looking for an energetic and service-minded Accountant. The position is temporary for 12 months and is located in Vaasa, Finland.

Your role and responsibilities:

As an Accounts Payable Accountant your work will include handling incoming purchase invoices, solving issues and being in contact with various Wärtsilä teams and suppliers to improve the end-to-end process. You’ll be working as a part of a committed and energetic Accounts Payable team with diverse expertise. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support from the team.

For us to be the best match, we expect you to have a good understanding of accounting and experience from working in a customer-facing role. As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience from the purchase-to-pay process and have a degree in accounting or other business-related field. For you to succeed in this position, we hope you have a mindset for continuous improvement and are open to learning new skills, such as RPA.
