Eaton´s new campus for its critical power systems in Vantaa, Finland, integrates all current activities into a much larger site. Campus is completed by the end of 2023, and the 16,500 m² site will house research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and service under one roof and will create up to 100 additional jobs.
As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of three-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), Eaton’s expansion in this area is driven by strong business growth and the demand for systems that ensure business continuity. Situated in a prime location next to the Helsinki airport, the Vantaa facility will serve as Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions headquarters and a center of excellence for data centers.

What you’ll do:
We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our Manufacturing Technology team. This key role is going to be responsible for maintaining and developing business critical technical systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Smart Factory automatization development and maintenance.

Your responsibilities will be:

Develop and maintain factory automation operating systems and procedures in manufacturing and electrical laboratory areas

Manage small scale CI projects related to factory automatization
-
Collaborate with the Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 program, Quality and R&D teams to develop effective strategies and controls to create robust, sustainable automation of processes

Qualifications:

University degree in Engineering with a Major of Automation or Electrical Engineering

Over three years experience from industrial or technical environment
Skills:

Proven experience of developing automatization projects and design

Fluent English and Finnish language skills

Team player and good communication skills
